I have been searching high and low for an online mall solution where I can charge rent for vendors to sell thier products on my site. I need vendors to only be able to access thier own admin sections to add product to individual stores within the main mall, etc. Magento is talking about doing it, Virtuemart is talking about doing it, osCommerce has a semi working add-on, but nobody can seem to make it work. I have found a commercial php script that comes close iBotiqueMall http://www.netartmedia.net/mall/ but shoppers are directed to a stand alone shop that opens in a new window. I need all shopping to be done within my site. The others open source guys are talking about a shopping cart that takes orders from all the various vendors in the shop and then does seperate checkouts at the end, etc, etc. Is there any kind of solution like this in the works? If you could impliment this into Freeway, you would become the defacto king of shopping carts.
Thank you for this great piece of software.

Yes, this is something we are interested in. Please add it into the mix in the extension request forum.
Put some detail to it and make it as clear as you can.
Cheers,

Silly me. Yes, this is the place.
We are going to set up a voting system for extension requests.
Cheers,

Hi!
I'm part of a Web development Project, and would like to use the OpenFreeWay for the e-commerce part, but the Multi-Vendors/Store functionalities (a.k. e-mall), is something we really need.
I could offer technical assistance in the development specification, because we know exactly what we need (I'm an experience developer), and also we can do a financial contribution to perform the development, there is anyway to reach the development team?.
Thanks, and very nice Project! _________________ BuZmaN

Hi,
I am a business analyst with the development team and CEO of the project sponsor, ZacWare. Glad you like Freeway. Please do PM me with your information. We have done some investigations into the Mall extension of Freeway. It is something we have been planning for but have not reached yet. A supportive party is what we need.
With thanks,

Damian,
I am just a hack when it comes to php, and I don't have any money either, but I need this solution so badly you will never know.
I can't offer money, but I can offer to help in whatever way I can. (bug tester, copy writer, graphics, etc.) Just let me know how I can help make this a reality and I will do it if I can.
Thanks.

Hi there!
Multi Vendor Support is a great idea. I think it's something similar like my request about hotelling extension:
https://www.openfreeway.org/forums/viewtopic.php?t=463
Hotel owners could login like admins to their own hotel and modify his rooms availability, edit prices, services, etc... but not the rest of the hotels.
Is it possible to hotelling extension like Multi Vendor Request?
Thank you very much and sorry for my English.

Hi,
I hope here I am right to vote for the multivendor capability of Freeway.
It will be the most wanted advantage for Freeway.
Best wishes,

Hi instantlaw,
thanks for your answer. But I am logged in... and the link you gave me shows me only the votes other user made. I was searching now since days in this forum around... Damian shows in a thread a link to the voting... you are doing so... and allways the same result for me... there are no buttons or something else, where I could vote for the multivendor solution. Only the summary of the votes of others is shown. Nothing else. I give up...
I only hope, that it comes to the developement of multivendors in Freeway
Thanks and best wishes,

Hendrik,
Please try to PM Damian or one of the moderators. I was able to vote and so were 3 other people. Maybe I am giving the wrong link?
Anyway, Don't give up because we really need this.

Hi, I've been searching for an online mall for about a week and stumbled upon Freeway whilst browsing the Joomla extensions site (for a different project).
On the face of it Freeway looks to be great and I would definitely be interested in a Mall extension.
Now to find this elusive vote button!
