Thank you very much.
One of the most important problems in a booking system is the room availability because hotels can book his rooms:
1.- By telephone
2.- In the same hotel
3.- Online
Let's think, for example, that one customer books online one room with Freeway but the hotel doesn`t have available rooms because previously had booked by other ways. It would be impossible that Freeway know if the hotel have no rooms.
In this way, it would be very interesting that the hotels also can use the online Freeway system to block the rooms if they receive a phone reservation for example, instead of the owners have a booking software in the hotel computer. They would make all online.
I think that it would be a great success if Freeway integrates a complete booking system based on:
- General admin account(s) to add hotels in Freeway.
- An admin account for each hotel (with permissions to modify his rooms availability, edit prices, services, etc... but not the rest of the hotels). It would be something similar to in a oscommerce site there are multiple shops.
- An email field for each hotel that alerts when someone makes a reservation. After receive the mail, the hotel goes to his Freeway admin account to view the customer phone, address, mail... and confirm the reservation.
- Different payment options that can select each hotel. Previously, payment options could have been defined by the general admin(s).
- Etc...
So, Freeway would get to be a fully automated booking system. I think it's difficult, but it will be really cool!
I hope that you understand my explanation. Sorry for my English.
Best regards from Spain and congratulations for Freeway.
