I asked a question concerning this ability, and Ramesh suggested I post a request here...so, here it is.
At some future stage, would it be possible to to be able add images of products from a directory already on the Server please?

Yes it is possible.In Freeway project, We save the uploaded product name in the products table. we change some little code in products_mainpage.php page. By Coding change you can add images from a directory.

Thank you for that info.
Unfortunately, I am not very confident/experienced with changing ANY code yet. I am still learning...... slowly I will have a look at the products_mainpage.php page and see what I can see.
