Traditionally, consumers walk into a store, see (and inspect) the merchandise available in the store, pick up the product they want, pay for it, becomes it owner, and take it home.

If the desired product is not available or if the product with the desired properties is not available, then the consumer moves on to another store. This continues until the desired product/model is found. Sometimes, out of frustration, he even gives up.

Freeway allows you sell your products such as apparel, mobile phones, television sets, and so on. To put a product for sale involves defining the product attributes, shipping modes, and defining the product by specifying required information.

Different products have different sets of attributes. Some examples include the following:

• The attributes of a Mobile Phone include its manufacturer, model, its display type, and so on.
• The attributes of a T-Shirt include its size, material, knitting style, availability of collar and buttons, sleeve length, type of finishing, and so on.

Freeway allows you to sell different products with different sets of attributes.

Shipping is the mode in which, you will send your customer, the product that he purchased from you online. That is, via parcel post, federal express, and so on. Freeway allows you to send the products to your customers through a number of ways as follows:

After you have defined the product attributes and shipping methods, you are ready to sell your product online. Follow the procedure below to put your product for sale:

1. Click Products in the side navigation bar. The Products screen appears.
2. Click Manage Products. The Products screen appears with the categorized list of products that are already listed for sale.
3. Create a product category by clicking New Category under Product Management, specifying the category name and other required information, and clicking . The category is created and listed in the screen.
4. Click New Product under Product Management. The product creation screen appears where you can specify the required information and create the product.

Your product is now listed for sale.
