I am not sure if this is the correct place to post this, but...

Regarding the Product Price Breaks in SVN release 121... do these price breaks cooperate? If so, how do they do so?

For instance, can products with identical prices & price breaks cooperate within a cart at checkout?


eg:

10 pcs product A in cart (reg $12.99, 12pcs+ $10.99 each)
2 pcs product B in cart (identical pricing to product A)

Checkout accounts all instances of products A and B at $10.99

Nevermind... after looking at the code, I can see that they do not cooperate.

Recommendation:

Ask in the configuration somewhere whether products with identical prices / price breaks should cooperate or not.

This is very simple... but adequate for a basic cooperating system.

To speed this up in very large shops an optimized table of cooperating prices could be written to a file or a special table whenever a price or pricebreak is updated... or clever dbadmins could make sure to set an adequate mysql query cache.
