email of credit card details
We would not recommend sending credit card details by email. It is not a secure messaging protocol. We will not develop a solution using this method. We can however, send a message to shop manager on each sales with the customers credit card details available to the shop manager once they view the order in the backend. Customers would log in as normal, choose a product or service and go to the checkout where they would be asked for their credit card details and advised the payment will not be processed immediately on checkout. Work Required: New Feature.
Emails Generated To Customer: Advising of sale pending offline credit card payment success. Work Required: Existing feature.
Emails Generated To Shop Manager: Advising of new order. Work Required: Existing feature.
Payment Status
The offline purchase would have a pending payment status. It would not be shown in sales reports until the shop manager changed it's status to processed. Work Required: New Feature.
Declined Order
If the credit card is declined, it is easy to email the customer. A record of all contact with the customer is stored together with the user id of the staff person processing the order. Work Required: Existing feature.
