Black out dates in events

Just wondering if it is possible to add in black out dates in events as well. For example when doing a recurring event on the first Monday of every month it may produce an event for christmas day or new years day etc. It would be nice to be able to stop those sessions from appearing by using a blackout date as opposed to creating 2 or more recurring sessions to avoid particular dates.

Any thoughts?

Just create one set of sessions which goes up to the date you want, then start a new set after the dates where you don't want to run sessions.

This is used in several events businesses now and works well.

We don't have a way of nominating days when no events are held globally because schedules are generally per event anyway. You will find the method we have works well.

You can always copy events and their sessions then alter the event details if you have lots of events.

Cheers,

Damian
