Is it possible for a future release to add flexible booking?

My thought on flexible booking is as follows:

I have an asset. (Charter Boat)

I sell up to 6 configurations of bookings on any day (6 hours, 8 hours, 10 hours, 12 hours, 24 hours and 30 hours)

Between bookings i need to add a 1 hour clean up and boat turn around block.

I would like to prevent double bookings, but also allow for flexibility so the customer can easily select the length of trip he wants.

Dear Nigel,

We are almost ready to release this feature. Should be this week.

It is a whole new extension allowing the booking of time rather than the present facility of booking into a defined event.
