Hi,
Can someone clue me in as to the correct time limit sttings. What should it be? I'm getting the following ...

"Warning: set_time_limit() has been disabled for security reasons in / ... /admin/products_mainpage.php on line 258"

at the moment the line reads

"set_time_limit(5);"

Any body care to enlighten me?

Hi,

It seems that PHP is running in safe mode in your server. This is not an error. You have to turn-off PHP safe mode to remove this warning.

Email your hosting company and ask them to turn off this setting for you. Or if you can edit the php.ini file, just turn off it.

I checked that during the install ... it confirmed safe mode was off .... I get it when I access my products in admin. Front end is fine ... I can still edit everything, just get the warning as well ... I have used freeway with this host before ... I installed a test site over a year ago and it is still going ... last time I remember something similar and I'm sure someone showed me a simple edit to set_time _limit ... any other suggestions?

This is only a safety trap anyway. If you delete the line it defaults to 30 or you can change the tather low 5 to 0 in which case it loops indefinitely.

Incidentally what version are you trying to run I dont have this in mine...
