I have attempted to update with the patch. Moved over all files but the sql execution errored out.

So I just downloaded the entire thing again, deleted the database and did a fresh install.

My edition is 1.4.2.197 but it still wants me to patch up. I really thought a whole new install would be the latest.

Whats up with that?

It looks like you have found a bug. Can you please report it in bugzilla? We will fix it pronto.
