Are you able to do the following:

A person buys an electronic gadget. When they view the cart, it will say 'don't forget batteries!' Another situation would be on my site, I sell Cinnamon capsules, it could say 'Buy some Glucomannan, it works great with Cinnamon!'

Yes. You can force the customers to buy a product with another one.

Things to do :
----------------

1. Link the products to be purchased in ‘Admin > Sales > Cross Sales > Products’.
2. Change the ‘XSell Type’ of the linked product as ‘Forced’.

Now, you can see the result in product_info page of Front-End.
